Leilani is a graduate from the University of British Columbia where she majored in Applied Animal Biology. Her job is to take complex information, simplify it into plain language, and present it in a way that is both educational and visually pleasing. Whether it’s through posters, pamphlets, booklets, videos, blog posts, or social media posts, she uses a wide array of methods to disseminate information to the public. Leilani is fascinated by honey bees’ roles as bioindicators in their ecosystem and their vital role as pollinators in crop production and the maintenance of biodiversity. Along with her deep interest in anything animal-related, Leilani enjoys practicing creativity through illustration, photography, and video editing.
